About Mary Paine

Biography

Mary Frye, daughter of William Frye and Elizabeth Foster, was born 9 Nov 1641 in Weymouth, Norfolk, Massachusetts, and died 22 Mar 1704 at age 62 in Dorchester, Suffolk, Massachusetts.

She was married to Thomas "Pearce" on 3 August 1661, Dorchester, Massachusetts by Mr. Bellingham.[2] [3] He was the only son of Robert Peirce and Ann Greenway, born about 1635.

The known children of Thomas and Mary all born in Dorchester were:

Death

He died on October 26, 1706, Dorchester, Massachusetts. [6], aged 71, placing his birth about 1635. He is buried in the Dorchester North Burying Ground.[7]

"Here lyes buried the body of Mrs. Mary Pain wife of Deacon Moses Pain aged 78 years who died July 4th, 1743."[1]

Mary Pain is buried in the Hancock Cemetery, in Quincy, Norfolk County, Massachusetts.[1]
