On 28 Oct 1693, Jacob and Mary moved to Burlington, New Jersey, located on the Delaware River and bought a farm of 300 acres for 105 pounds. In 1711, he divided this land among his three sons.

  • Genealogical Dictionary of Maine and New Hampshire identifies Jacob's wife as the niece of this Mary (Philbrick) (Tuck) Wall.[5] See entry Philbrick entry #8, "Sergt Thomas," who was "+/- 43 in 1668 and +/- 46 in 1672. Authors reports Jacob's wife was Sergt Thomas Philbrick's dau. Mary, "b. 11 Sept 1651."
  • Genealogical Dictionary of Maine and New Hampshire then has entry about this Jacob Perkins, reporting he was baptized 24 May 1640, the son of Isaac. Reports four children born to Jacob and Mary at Hampton, 1671-1683.
