Samuel Howland, of Freetown, Yeoman, made Feb 15, 1715, a will referring to his wife Mary, his daughter Mary Rounsevill, his daugter Content Hanford, his sons Samuel, John, Abraham, Joshua, and Gershom, and grand daughter Mary Morton, and each of Isaac's children. The will was probated May 1716.
Samuel Howland of Freetown, Yoeman, made his will gave "to wife Mary, 2 cows, white mare and ye colt, one warming pan, one basin and my chamber pot, and bed I commonly lie upon and the bedding belonging to it; also one sheet and a box and all therein at the time of my decease." "To daughter Mary Rounsevill one cow. To daughter Content Sandford more than she has had one pound. To my sons Samual, John, Abraham, Joshua, and Gershom more than they had in other things one shilling each. To Mary Morton one shilling, and to each of son Isaac's children on pound in money" 15
