PEORIA -- Marie A. Tully Sieks, 83, of Bel-Wood Nursing Home in Peoria County died there at 8:30 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 22, 1996.

Born Feb. 2, 1913, in Peoria to John and Johanna Dunne Tully , she married Frederick A. Sieks on April 24, 1937, in Peoria. He died June 28, 1991. One brother also preceded her in death.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Bernard (Patty A.) Filzen of Peoria and Mrs. Donald (Kathy J.) Perhay of Sunnyland; seven sons, James A. of Belmont, Mass., Frederick J., Bob and Jerry, all of Peoria, Larry M. of Buena Park, Calif., Bernie of Mapleton and Marty of Kansas City, Mo.; one brother, Michael Tully of Knoxville; three sisters, Cele Seifert of Canyon Lake, Texas, Marg Boundy of Knoxville and Ann Zabko of Las Vegas; 22 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

She was a member of Neighborhood House Tuesday Club and Travel Club. She was a member of St. Boniface Ladies Bowling League and the Cursillo.

She was a former member of Daughters of Isabella and was a charter member of South Side Chapter of the American Association of Retired Persons.

She was a member of St. Martin dePorres Catholic Church, where services will be at 11 a.m. Friday. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel, with a Scripture service at 7 p.m. Additional visitation will be one half-hour before services at the chapel. Burial will be in St. Mary 's Cemetery in West Peoria.
