Descendant of Mayflower passengers Stephen Hopkins and Giles Hopkins
1727 (Samuel's intention to marry second wife).[1][4] The children named in Samuel's will were all married before he married his second wife, so were the children of his first wife. The Mayflower Index 1932 and NEHGR 102:49 listed his wife as Ruth Hopkins d/o Gyles and Catherine (Wheldon) Hopkins). Gyles 1682 will and 1688/9 codicil, probated 1690, do not mention any daughters[5][1]
