Mary Doty, twin daughter of Edward Doty (abt.1637-1690) and his wife Sarah, was born 9 July 1672 in Plymouth, Plymouth Colony.[1][2][3][4]

She married Capt. Joseph Allyn 21 December 1691, and had 1 son and 6 daughters. Mary died before 6 April 1742."[5] Massachusetts Vital Records gives her marriage on Sept 21, 1699 at Plymouth, Massachusetts.[6] Plymouth Vital Records gives her birthdate as July 9, 1671; she was one of two twin daughters born that day (Martha was the other twin).[7]

Mary Doty married second to Nathaniel Thomas on married 8 Nov 1734 in Plymouth, Plymouth, Massachusetts.

He is much more likely to be a member of the Allen family of NJ.[4]
