Death of Mrs. Mary Wlcka
-Mrs. Mary Wlcka, 970 East King street, died Sunday at 1:20 a. m. at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Vina Sjostrum, 970 East King street at the age of 84. Mrs. Wlcka had been ill six weeks. She was born March 10, 1849, in Poland, and came to this country in 1867. She lived here with her parents for three years and then was married to Paul Wlcka and moved to Pine Creek, Wls., where she resided until 10 years ago, when she returned to Winona.
Survivors are five sons, Vincent and Felix, Beach N.D.; Leon, Fountain City, Wls., and Paul and Jacob, Winona; five daughters, Mrs. John Ferrian and Mrs. Frank Melehow, Minneapolis, and Mrs. Robert Cierzan, Mrs. Mary Bambenek and Mrs. Vina Sjostrum, Winona; three brothers, John B. Bambenek, Charles Bambenek and Paul Bambenek, Winona; 63 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Mr. Wlcka died 22 years ago. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 9 a. m . at the St. Stanislaus church, the Rev. J. F. Cieminskl officiating. Preliminary services will be conducted at 8:30 a. m. at the Sjostrum home. Burial will be in the Sacred Heart cemetery at Pine Creek, Wis. Mrs. Wlcka was a member of the Rosary society of the Sacred Heart parish, Pine Creek, Wis., and a member of the Sacred Heart society of the St. Stanislaus parish, Winona.
