About Matriarch Sarah / שרה אמנו

Genesis 11:29-30

Sarah is a half sister to her husband Abraham. They had the same father, but different mothers. There are traditions, based on Talmudic and other sources, that Sarah was Abraham's NIECE, Iscah.

Sarah died of a broken heart, directly after the sacrifice at Mt. Moriah.

Genesis 22:29

Some of the biblical commentaries explain that Isca is another name for Sarai (Sarah), Abraham's wife, but this does not work out chronologically. Sarah was 10 years younger than Abraham. So if Sarah was Iscah, It would imply that Abraham's younger brother Haran, would have gotten married and fathered Sarah/Iscah within those 10 years.

  1. 1, "Some biblical..."?! Well "non"! Argue otherwise!!!!!! Because it is the real truth!!!!!
  2. 2, Yes! it does work out "Chronologically"! +

Proof is in a lot of places! The mother of Shlomo Homelech AKA King Solomon, was about 10 years old! When she gave birth to him, after giving birth to his older brother that died a short time-period😢 after he was born, AS A PUNISHMENT! FOR KING DUVID! (As detailed in Shmuel/Samuel's, & could also be found at http://biblehub.com/2_samuel/12-14.htm .) BOTH־SHEVO/בת־שבע was a great granddaughter of Achitoyfel/אחיתּופֶל! He killed himself 😭 when he was only 36 years old! By that time, King Duvid was married already with his great granddaughter בת־שׁבע! She was already 9 years old! In other words it means, - the Gmuru/Talmud tells/teaches us, - that they were capable of impregnating and impregnated and over the age of 8. Another place we can see how grown up they were, is by רבקה אמינוּ, at the age of 3! They let her leave to go get "married"!
