This Mary's photo is the same as that of Martha Beck. It is unclear whether the photo shows this Mary, that Martha or another woman. Further research is warranted.

The daughter of William Wall and Rebecca Blythe, Mary Ann was born about 1826 in Rabun County, GA. She married Eben Benson Knox about 1854. They became the parents of three children, James Edward, Mary Elizabeth and Martha Ann Adliza, all of whom were born in Rabun County, GA. About 1875, the family moved over to Oconee Co., SC. After the death of Benson Knox in 1897, Mary Ann moved to Texas with the families of her son and daughter, Martha Ann Adliza. She died three days after the death of her son and was buried beside him in a rural cemetery near Lindale, Smith County, TX. Their graves were marked only with wooden markers and all efforts to locate their grave sites have failed.
