About Michael Joseph Renk

Death of Michael Renk. Michael Renk, 625 East Sanborn (Street, resident here for 43 years, died Friday at 8:20 p.m. at Rochester. Mr. Renk had been in poor health for 13 years. Death was caused by a hemorrhage. Mr. Renk, who was 74 years of age, was born in Germany, Sept. 21, 1859. He was employed as Janitor at the St. Joseph's church until 13 years ago when he retired from active work. Survivors are three sons: Bernard, John M., and Joseph, Winona; three daughters, Mrs. William Seibert, Winona; Mrs. John Berghammer, Rochester and Mrs. Ed Vondrashek, Winona; two brothers, Martin and Joseph Renk, Winona, and one sister, Mrs. Frank Thels, Winona. His wife died Sept. 19, 1933. Funeral services will be conducted at the St. Joseph's church at 9 a.m. Monday, the Rev. George Jaegen officiating. Preliminary services will be conducted at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Seibert, 625 East Sanborn street, at 8:30 a.m. Burial will be in St. Mary's cemetery.
