City Fireman, 28, Dies in Hospital, Services Monday,
Milton T. Houser, 28, a member of the Fort Wayne Fire Department for over two years, died. at 11:45 a.m. yesterday in the St. Joseph hospital. He had been seriously ill for three weeks. A lifelong resident of Fort Wayne, Mr. Houser resided at 2430 North Highland Blvd. He was a fireman at No.8 fire station. Mr. Houser graduated from Central Catholic High School in 1952 and attended Butler University. He was a veteran of the Navy and a member of Queen of Angles Catholic Church and its Holy name Society. He also was a member of Fireman's Local 124, the Indiana Firefighters Association and the International Association of firefighters. Surviving are his wife, Rosalle ;a two sons, Thomas and Timothy, at home; a daughter Teresa, at home; his parents, Mr. and Mrs, John J. Houser, Fort Wayne; two brothers, Jerome, serving with the Navy in Key West, Fla. and Robert J. Fort Wayne and a sister, Mrs. Joseph F. (Maxine) Smith, Fort Wayne. The body was taken to the Tom Mungovan Funeral Home, where friends may call after 3 p.m. Saturday. Services will be at 9:15 a.m. Monday in the funeral home and 19 a.m. in the Queen of Angels Church, Rev. William M. Faber officiating. Burial will be in the Catholic Cemetery. The Holy Name Society will have Rosary services at 7 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home.
