Moses Kahn use to own two houses in Mittelsinn. He lived in the one on 20 Hauptstrasse, known today as number 58 on the same street. Here he lived with his family and also operated his general store in part of the house. The other house was on Schulstrasse 32, near the synagogue. This house he used as his warehouse and from where he sold steel to the farmers and others.Today's address of the 2nd house is 16 Fellenbergstrasse. He also owned several parcels of land in and around Mittelsinn.
Moses was a soldier fighting for Germany in France in WW1, He was fighting near the city of Metz.
