About Moses Mojzesz Schamroth
Schamroth Rapeport N. The Schamroth from Krakow in Antwerp Belgium. 2017 Moses arrived in Belgium in January 1910 and he lived there until 1913. His occupation was a koopman in diamant (diamond merchant). In 1913 the family moved to Cracow Austria and 18 years later he returned to Antwerp in 1931. He lived in Belgium until 1932 and returned to Krakow. In 1937 he returned to Antwerp with his wife and daughter Ella. During WW II he and his wife moved to Ransart, Charleroi . They survived the War. They had 4 children. Their son Adolf emigrated to the USA. Their daughter Ella also moved ot Charleroi during WW II. Their twin son Isidore remained in Poland and was listed in the Krakow Ghetto. He died in the Belzec Camp. His twin sister survived. US Holocaust Memorial Museum.
