Nathan Randall, b. in Stonington, Conn., was admitted freeman of Westerly, R. 1., May 4, 1736. He was a farmer in Westerly till about 1750-1, when he removed to Voluntown, where he bought 160 acres of land of Amos Kinney (3d Aug., 1750), for two thousand five hundred, money of ye "old tenor bills"; 20 acres of Andrew Elliott (6th April, 1755), for five hundred pounds in good and passable bills of credit, old tenor. He m. 1st, Mary Cottrell Dec. 16, 1730, that family; she d. at Westerly, R. 1., Dec. 2, 1735; m. 2d, Eleanor Cottrell July 22, 1736, sister of his first wife.

Biography

Nathan was born in 1708.

In 1734/5 Nathan Randall, who was born in Stonington, purchased from Caleb Pendleton, Jr., 60 acres (more or less) which, about four years later, Nathan then sold the land to Edmond Pendleton, Jr. [1]

Nathan Randall became a freeman of Westerly, Rhode Island in 1736 and he farmed at 'Watch Hill' until about 1750 at which time he removed to Voluntown. [1]

He passed away in 1786.
