Lt. Nathaniel Morton was born in 1657 in Plymouth, Massachusetts to Lt. Ephraim Morton Sr. and Lady Lydia Anne Cooper. He married Mary Faunce, daughter of Joseph & Judity (Rickard) Faunce, on 21 Feb 1705 at Plymouth, Massachusetts.

Children: Nathaniel (1706-1731). He died on 7 Jul 1709 in Plymouth, Massachusetts

After his death his widow, Mary (Faunce) Morton,

married Joseph Hall, son of John & Priscilla (Bearse) Hall, on 15 May 1711.
