Biography

Ephraim Morton, Jr., was born at Plymouth, Massachusetts Bay, in late January of 1648/9, a son of Ephraim Morton and Ann Cooper. He passed away in 1732.[1] He was married by 1677 to Hannah Finney[2] (daughter of John Finney and Elizabeth Bailey); the couple had children including Hannah, Ephraim, John, Joseph, Ebenezer, and Elizabeth.[3]

In 1709, he and his son Ephraim are mentioned in his brother, Nathaniel Morton's will..[4]

Ephraim Morton died on the 18th of February, 1731/2, at Plymouth; he was laid to rest at Plymouth's Burial Hill Cemetery.[5]
