A message on the genealogical site displays information about a person named Nellie Baumes, citing her birth as a member of the Baumes family in c. 1872, and that, "She died on December 12, 1946 in Bronx County, New York at 74 years of age."

Is this Nellie Baumes the same person profiled here, in spite of this source's apparent flaws? It's reasonable that our Nellie Baumes (Manierre) might have died in the New York metropolitan area, since her family resided in New York at the time of her birth.
