Mrs. J. F. Weston Dies at Corning

    Funeral arrangements are pending for Mrs. Nellie Rebecca Weston of Flournoy, who died just before midnight last night in Corning Memorial hospital, where she was taken following a stroke earlier in the week.  She and her husband, Frank Weston, celebrated their 52nd wedding anniversary Aug. 21.

    Other survivors are sons Jubal of McCloud; Frank of Wendel; Hugh and Henry of Chester; Boyd of Red Bluff; Charles, Carl and Arthur of Flournoy; two daughters, Metta Horner of Fairbanks, Alaska, and Rebecca Wilder of Corning; 31 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.  She also had three sisters and four brothers, James, Calvin and Oscar Christian, Mrs. Viola Seavers and Mrs. Metta Walker, all of Orland; Rovilla McNealy of Los Angles, and Granville Christian of Eureka.

Death Takes Nellie Weston Of Flournoy

    Mrs. Nellie Weston, Flournoy, native daughter of Orland, and resident of Glenn and Tehama counties her entire life, died last night at the Corning Memorial Hospital where she had been a patient since last Wednesday, following a stroke at her ranch home near Flournoy.

    Mrs. Weston, the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Christian of Orland, was born near Orland and spent her girlhood here, marrying Frank Weston, 52 years ago, August 21st.

   Following their marriage they made their home for many years on the Weston Ranch, at Monroeville, later moving to the Weston Ranch at Flournoy.

    Mrs. Weston is survived by her husband and ten children: Jubal Weston, McCloud; Frank O. Weston, Wendel; Hugh and Henry Weston, Chester; Boyd Weston, Red Bluff; Arthur, Charles and Carl Weston, Flournoy; Mrs. Metta Horner, Fairbanks, Alaska, and Mrs. Rebecca Wilder, Corning, and 31 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.

    She is also survived by four brothers and three sisters; James Christian, Calvin Christian, Oscar Christian, Mrs. Viola Seavers, Mrs. Metta Walker, all of Orland; Rovilla McNealy, Los Angeles, and Granville Christian, Eureka.
