Nemesio García professed in Valladolid in 1829. He arrived in the Philippines in 1832, where he was first stationed as a parish priest in Paombong, Bulacan in 1839. Then, he moved to Angat, Bulacan in 1840, where he met a mestiza de sangley named María Alva Clemente. As a result, they had at least four children. Then, he moved to Quingua (present-day Plaridel), Bulacan in 1852, where he stayed until the end of 1871. In the last month of his life, he moved to San Agustin Church in Intramuros, Manila, where he died.
