a post by Lee Hoffman ("Wife of Nicholas Catlett," 27 Nov 1999, CATLETT-L Archives) questions whether Susannah's surname was MERIWETHER because David MERIWETHER apparently had no daughter named Susannah. In addition, Margaret Amundson notes that Nicholas had a wife Elizabeth on several deeds. Seems further research is needed on the wife of Nicholas CATLETT.
