Passed away Thursday, July 2, 1992, at her home.Age 86 years.Nina Kent was born February 6, 1906 to Marshall and Helen Kent in Beaverton, Michigan.She married Lloyd Erskine on July 5, 1924.He died January 2, 1973.They owned and operated a farm in Fremont Township all of their married lives. Mrs. Erskine was a member of the Nelson United Methodist Church and its Women's Society.Surviving are four son, one daughter and their spouses.Rolland and Dorothy Erskine, Duane and Mary Jane Erskine, all of Hemlock; Wesely and Lorraine Erskine, Elkhorn, Wis.; Harold and Marlyn Erskine, Grand Rapids, Mich.; Dolores and Duane Aelick, Brownstown, Ind.;18 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; a brother, Millard Kent and a sister, Evelyn Miller; several nieces and nephews.A brother, Claude Kent predeceased her.Funeral service will take place 11:00 am Monday at the Nelson United Methodist Church.Rev. Edwin C. Collver will officiate with burial in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.Friends may call at the WL Case and Company Funeral Chapel, 201 N. Miller Road from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. Saturday and 1:00 - 5:00 pm and 7:00 - 9:00 pm Sunday and then at the church from 10:00 am Monday until time of service.
