The funeral for Olga Munson, 79, of Leeds was held Fri. at 2 p.m. at the Leeds Lutheran Church. Interment was in the Leeds Lutheran Cemetery. She died Feb. 8, 1993 at her home in Leeds. Rev. Lori Keyser-Boswell officiated. Arlyne Paulson was organist & Jeanette Ritterman provided special music. Pallbearers were Gary Ritterman, Olger Sandven, Kenneth Sandven, Rev. Robert Nathan, Roger Kenner & Orris Bracken. The Nelson Funeral Home of Leeds was in charge of arrangements. Olga Munson was born June 27, 1913 at Harlow to Elling & Liv Larson Swenson. She was raised & attended school at Harlow. She married Carl M. Munson Oct 12, 1940 at Minnewaukan. They lived in the Leeds area until moving to New Rockford in 1969 where they lived until moving back to Leeds in 1977. He died July 17, 1989. She was a member of the Leeds Lutheran Church, the Leeds 55 Club & the American Legion Auxiliary. Survivors include a son, Curtis of Leeds; a daughter, Mrs. Ken (Karin) Schwols of Loveland, Colo.; 2 grandsons; 2 brothers, Lars of Devils Lake & Ingvold of Leeds; & 5 sisters, Lillie Aabrekke & Mrs. Laurice (Signe) Ness, both of Devils Lake, Jorgine Leholm of Tioga, Sophie Swenson of Rugby & Ella Diesen of Kalispell, Mont. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, & a brother, Swen.
