Olivia Muse McGehee was the wife of Lt. Samuel McGehee, American Revolutionary War Patriot. They were married 19 Oct 1778 in Prince Edward County, VA.

She was the mother of Sarah, Martha, Pope, Elizabeth, George, Samuel, James, Lewis, David, Nancy, William and Abraham. She names her children Patsey (McGehee) Holloway, William, George, Pope, James, Samuel, Lewis and David McGehee; Eliza (McGehee) Willis, and Nancy (McGehee) Day.

She ends her will saying, " In testimony hereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal the fifteenth day of Jany., one thousand eight hundred and twenty five and the 49th year of the Independence of the United States of America.

After the death of Samuel McGehee, Olivia Muse McGehee married Charles Rhodes, also an American Revolutionary War Patriot. There were no children born to this late in life marriage.
