Patrick Calhoun was born in 1737 in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, the child of James and Susanna. He married his first wife in 1767 in Abbeville, South Carolina. In 1767 he married his second wife in South Carolina. He died in 1777 in Abbeville, South Carolina, at the age of 40.
