Patrick Holdcroft

A birth certificate has been retrieved from the national records in Ireland confirming that Patrick Holcroft was born in 1866, a son to Patrick Holcroft and Margaret Sheelan. Patrick is listed as a shoemaker - from Knockbridge. However, nothing much else is known at this time about Patrick[b.1866]: there is chance that he is the same Patrick Holcroft listed in the Chicago records as marrying a Mary Kindlen and a Mary Burns (both in the U.S.) but this is just speculation at present.
