Pg Kachi adalah anak kepada Pg Temenggong Pg Abd Kadir dengan pasangannya Dyg Hajar. Beliau mempunyai waris kesultanan Melayu Brunei melalui Al-Marhum Sultan Saiful Rizal [Sultan Brunei ke-7, 1533-1581] yang memputerakan Pg Temenggong Pg Anak Mahmud yang beranakkan Pg Sidewa Maharaja yang beranakkan Pg Temenggong Pg Abd Kadir dan beranakkan Pg Kachi. Di segi susunan atau hirarki, Pg Kachi adalah generasi ke-5 (piut) kepada Sultan Saiful Rizal. Diriwayatkan, Pg Kachi ini seorang perempuan yang sangat cantik rupawan seperti juga adiknya, Pg Isah Tandang Sari. Pg Kachi mendirikan rumah tangga dengan seorang putera keturunan Diraja Minangkabau iaitu anak cucu Bendahara Tanjung Sungayang, Negeri Pagar Ruyung, Sumatera telah datang ke Pulau Borneo (Sarawak dan Brunei). Putera tersebut ialah Dato Godam, anak kepada Datuk Bendahara Harun. Dengan perkahwinan ini mereka mendapat dua orang putera, iaitu putera pertama bernama Dato Bandar Abdul Rahman @ Menteri Uban dan putera kedua bernama Dato Said digelar Menteri Puteh.
