United with old Canaan Church 1 July 1774, which had moved from
Canaan, CT to Stillwater, Ny, taking the old Church records to Stillwater.
He was an early settler in Almond Village, Allegany Co. NY. He built the
1st sawmill in Almond, Allegany 1806 near the ravine just below the
Gibbs mill. He died in Almond.
