They came from Salcombe Regis, Devonshire, to Massachusetts Bay in 1635 on the "Hopewell" & settled in Dorchester MA. She probably died between 1640 & 1646. Susanna Clap was not the daughter of Prudence. She was the daughter of Edward's 2nd wife, Susanna Cockrill whom he married by 1646 (the birth year of their first child). Prudence died between 1640 (year her last child was born) and 1646 (year of birth of Susanna's 1st child with Edward).
