FYi -- Benjamin was a guard at Andersonville prison during the civil war and died there in 1864 of Typhoid Fever. More about his unit :Co.E 4th georgia reserve regt. Historical Notes: Members of this unit were assigned as prison guards. They served as guards at Andersonville and at Camp Lawton. Several of the men died while guards at Andersonville and are buried there in Oak Grove Cemetery.
