Pvt. James Allen (USA)

James Allen served in the Union Army during the American Civil War. On 12 Jul 1861 in Worcester, MA James mustered into service in Company H, 15th Massachusetts Volunteer Infantry. He died during the Battle of Ball's Bluff on October 21, 1861 and was buried in Balls Bluff National Cemetery. His grave is the only identified burial in Balls Bluff National Cemetery.
