Rønnoug was baptized at home 4 Feb 1822 and in the Kvikne Church 10 Mar 1822.

In the early 19th century, Kvikne had two farms with similar names, which were often confusingly spelled the same, Huschelien, and a variety of other spellings. By the late 19th century, the one east of Skåbu was spelled Hysjulien (Hysjulia in the 20th century), and the one Rønnoug was from, across the Vinstra from the Kvikne Church, was spelled Huskelien (Huskelia in the 20th century). It is safest to avoid the spelling Huschelien, due to its ambiguity.

Rønnoug’s findagrave memorial is 7402577, under the name “Ronnaug Jakobsd Huschelien Amundson.” Her gravestone reads “Rena Amundson.”
