Ingri's exact birth and death dates are a little uncertain, as they come from a hard-to-read gravestone, but we know from other sources that she was born around 1795 and that she died in July or August 1879.

Ingri had two daughters from her first marriage, one daughter after being widowed, and a son and two daughters from her second marriage. Ingri's marriage to her second husband, Ole Nielsen, doesn't appear in the Fron church records, but they are referred to as married when their first child was born, Jacob Olsen, born 1 Oct 1832. All six children were born and raised at the tenant farm Lien under Huskelien in the Kvikne sub-parish of Nord-Fron parish, Oppland County, Norway. (Note: the farms Huskelien and Hysjulien sometimes get confused with each other. Although both are in Kvikne, Nord-Fron, they are 7.4 miles (11.9 km) apart as the crow flies and 21.4 miles (34.4 km) by road, definitely different farms. Ingri lived on Huskelien, across the Vinstra from the Kvikne church.)

Probably in the late 1850s (at least by 1865), Ingri and her family moved to the tenant farm Lillevolden under Nord-Sylte, located in Espedalen in Sør-Fron, just outside of Nord-Fron.

Ingri, the daughter of Torger Andersen Haugen and Anne Paulsdatter Litlgard, was probably born in Nord-Fron Herad and lived on the Hov and Haugen farms in Nord-Fron before marrying. After marrying her first husband, Jacob Poulsen Huskelien, Ingri lived on Lien under Huskelien, in Nord-Fron, where her six children were born and raised.

On 30 Oct 1821, Ingri married Jacob Poulsen Huskelien (ca. 1796 to 2 Apr 1825) in Fron, Oppland County, Norway. They had two daughters: Rønnaug Jacobsdatter (b. 28 Jan 1822) and Anne Jacobsdatter (b. 28 Mar 1824). After Jacob Poulsen’s death, Ingri had a daughter Anne Hansdatter (b. 10 Jun 1829) with bachelor Hans Knudsen from Vågå (Oppland Co.). Ingri then married Ole Nielsen (though their marriage doesn’t appear in Fron church records). They had three children: Jacob Olsen (b. 1 Oct 1832), Marit Olsdatter (b. 10 Dec 1835), and Kari Olsdatter (b. 25 Jan 1841). In the 1850s, she and her second husband, Ole Nielsen, moved to Lillevolden in Espedalen, in Sør-Fron Herad (just outside of Nord-Fron).

Ingri and Ole (Nielsen or Nelson), two of her daughters, and 11 of her grandchildren emigrated in 1870 aboard the brig Kong Carl, sailing from Oslo to Quebec. Ole and Ingri, their daughter Marit, and four of their grandchildren settled near Prairie Farm, Wisconsin.

Ole and Ingri sometimes used the name Lillevold, which their only son, Jacob Olson, sometimes used, and all of his sons adopted.
