About הרב אלתר ישראל שמעון שמעון פרלוב, 2nd Novominsker Rebbe (עברית)

רבי אלתר ישראל שמעון פרלוב (תרל"ד - ו' בטבת תרצ"ג) היה בנו הבכור של רבי יעקב פרלוב. לאחר נישואיו לבתו של רבי ברוך מאיר מאזרניץ (בן רבי מנחם נחום בן רבי אהרן טברסקי מצ'רנוביל) התמנה לראש הישיבה שהקים אביו. באותן שנים היה צמוד לאביו ורשם את דברי תורתו. בשנת תרס"ב (1902), בהיותו בן 28, נפטר אביו והוא התמנה כאדמו"ר במקומו. בתקופת מלחמת העולם הראשונה עבר לוורשה והמשיך שם להנהיג את עדתו. התפרסם בגדולתו בתורה ובצדיקותו ועמד בקשר עם גדולי האדמו"רים בפולין. נפטר בשנת תרצ"ג. דברי תורתו נאספו בספר "תפארת אי"ש" (על הגדה של פסח - ורשה תרצ"ג, על המועדים - ירושלים תשכ"ט). שניים מבניו, רבי נחום מרדכי ורבי יוסף, כיהנו כאדמו"רים. גידל את אחיינו, אברהם יהושע השל שהתייתם מאביו.‏
