There is no source evidence for proposition that R' Asher Katz Sapiro is the son of Rabbi Samuel Zalman Shapira, [1st Shapira - of Speyer], dubious also that Rabbi Ephraim Fishel is the son of R' Asher Katz Sapiro: neither the Shmuel Zalman Shapira nor the the Ephraim Fischel line is Kohenite-- both should be severed from Asher Katz Shapiro (29 DEC 2023)
