אדמו"ר מסקרניביץ - לויביץ'. ראש ישיבת שם משמעון. חתן האדמו"ר רבי נתן נחום מקרימילוב קאליש, דב בער, בן שמעון. בתרפ"ט,1929, נתמנה לאדמו"ר מסקרנייביץ-לויביץ, שבאזור לודז'. כשישב בלויביץ הקים שם את ישיבת "שם משמעון", על שם אביו, שהוציאה לאור כתב עת תורני משלה, שבו נדפסו דברי תורתו של הרבי שנאמרו בשבתות ובחגים. כשכבשו הגרמנים את פולין דחה את הנסיונות להצילו. כך לפי אלה אזכרה. לפי אלפסי הבטיחו הגרמנים להצילו תמורת 50.000 דולר. הם הטיסו אותו במטוס, נחתו בדרך והרגו אותו ואת כל משפחתו. לפי פנקס הקהילות היה בגטו ורשה. שם המשיך את פעילותו וניהל בחשאי את חצרו – סקרנייביץ – ועודד את חסידיו באופטימיות שלו ובעמידתו המכובדת.
