1576/77 Rabbi Natan of Grodno, son of my uncle, Shimshon Spira z"l......... Natan died in 5337, and he left two sons who were great in Torah: r' Isaac who was Rosh Y. in Kabla (?) and r' Issachar, who was Rosh Y. in Pinsk. And at this time he (Issachar) is Rosh Y. & AB"D in Worms [Worms Mem. p.5 and see his daughter Epidat wrm-3021 – her name is really Gelle, per Gruene Buch]

PLEASE NOTE: Further investigation is required to verify if Shimon is Jehiel Michal's father, as some important sources disputing his being the father of Jehiel Michal have been brought to light, and instead ascertain that Yosef Yerushalmi Spira as Gaon Jehiel Michal's father.
