Biography
Rebecca was born in about 1649 to John Peabody in Kingston, Rhode Island.
In 1677, Rebecca married Ebenezer Moon in Newport, Rhode Island Colony. They had at least four children. Prior to their marriage, Rebecca was a member of the Second Baptist church of Newport.
In 1687, Rebecca's father John passed away. In his will, he named seven sons-in-law including Ebenezer Moon. Each received "part and share of ye moveables and stock as it fell by lott."
In 1712, Ebenezer passed away in Newport. In 1728, Rebecca passed away in Newport. They are buried in the Newport Common Burying Ground.
