ST. DAVID, Maine - Reno Deschaine, 79, passed away Dec. 4, 2013 at his residence in St. David. He was born on Aug. 22, 1934 in Madawaska, son of the late Alsime and Marie Anne (Dube) Deschaine. He is survived by five sisters, Louise Robichaud of Washington State, Joan Nadeau and her husband Alphy of Connecticut, Connie Rancourt of Connecticut, Viola Therrien and her husband Paule Emile of Grand Isle, and Blanche Jalbert of St. David; two brothers, Gedeon Deschaine of St. David and Ronnie Deschaine of Connecticut; and many nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 12 at Lajoie Funeral Home. There will be no visiting hours. Interment will take place later in the spring.
