Richard Bearden

Richard & Manerva were twins.

Note: In the book "The Frosts and Related Families in Bedford Co., TN" by Wright W. Frost, pg. 201, # 3 - is mention of a Richard Bearden "third child of Eli & Nancy Bearden" with a reported birth year of 1812 and death date of 1831. This source continues: "The Census Report of 1830 lists him as head of household at an age of 15 - 20 with one female in the same age bracket and in addition a boy between five and ten, and a girl between ten and fifteen. Though young, he probably was married. The younger people in the household probably were his wife's brother and sister..." This information was provided by a nephew of Richard, Allan Bearden Philputt.
