Winona Republican-Herald Page: 3 Friday, April 06, 1934 Obituary Death of Robert Czarnowski Robert Czarnowski, 613 East Howard street, resident here for 51 years, died Thursday at 8 p.m. at his home following a stroke. Mr. Czarnowski who was 71 years of age, and had been ill since Monday. He was born June 7, 1862 in Poland. He was a member of the Polish Legion of the St. Stanislaus church. Survivors are his wife; six sons, John of Honolulu and Michael, Frank, Louis, Harry and William, Winona; four daughters, Mrs. Felix Prondzinski, Winona; Mrs. Otis Elam, St. Paul; Marion, at home, and Mrs. Herman Leitzow, St. Paul; one brother, Jacob Czarnowski, Cloquet, Minn.; one sister, Mrs. John V. Sikorski, Willard, Mont., and six grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted Monday at 9 a.m. at the St. Stanislaus church, the Rev. Joseph F. Cieminski officiating. Preliminary services will be conducted at the home at 8:30 a.m. Burial will be in St. Mary's cemetery. Pallbearers will be Harry, Louis, and Frank Czarnowski, sons of Mr. Czarnowski, and Otis Elam, Felix Prondzinski and Herman Leitzow, sons-in-laws.
