   Check book: "Robert and Mary Lanier McCall, South Georgia" 1986. A copy of same is at the S. Ga. Regional Library in Valdosta. No copy at DAR. Oct. 2003 made copies of numerous pages from the book, but not all of the book.

On 31 Sept. 1798 Robert McCall recorded his marks and brands in Bulloch Co, GA.
On 26 November 1804 Robert McCall of Screven Co. sold to Jarvis Jackson for $50 40 acres of land in Screven Co. bounded on all sides by the Ogeechee River, said land known by name as McCall's Island.
Witnesses: Hardy Richardson, J.I.C. and Benjamin Richardson, J.P. Recorded 13 April 1805.
In 1829 Robert McCall acquired title to 980 acres: Lot 37 containing 490 acres in District 12 and Lot 84 containing 490 acres in District 11. This property is now located in the Mineola section of Lowndes Co, GA. In 1829 Robert, Mary and their thirteen unmarried children moved from Effingham County, to the newly acquired property in Lowndes County, a distance of more than175 miles.

one female 10 to 14; 2 females 15 to 19; one female 50 to 59.

Robert; age 77; b. GA (father)
Mary; age 67; b. VA (mother)
Nathaniel; age 24; b. GA (brother)
Saleta; age 25; b. GA (sister).
