The son of William MILES - born circa 1768, Wiltshire; married Elizabeth aka Betty PAIN (no dates) on 27 November 1791 Longbridge Deverill, Wiltshire, England. Robert MILES married Ann DICKS - born 12 September 1797, Dunwich, Suffolk, England on 11 November 1817 Longbridge Deverill, Wiltshire, England. They had TWELVE children.
