Roger Eastman son of John and Mary (Boynton) Eastman was born in Salisbury, Massachusetts, Feb. 26, 1682. [1] (p.9)[2]
Roger was baptized at Essex County, Massachusetts Bay Colony on April 29, 1683. [3]
Roger Eastman was mentioned in his father John Eastman's, of Salisbury, Essex County, Massachusetts, will dated March 19, 1716 and proved on April 15, 1720. [3] [4]
He married Hannah Kimball, daughter of John Kimball at Amesbury, MA on Jan. 5, 1710. [5][2] (p. 47)[6]
He resided at Amesbury, Essex County, Massachusetts. [2] [6]
Roger and his wife Hannah prepared a joint will on April 26, 1742. (p. 6-8)[7] They left bequests to:
son Roger grandson Roger, of Roger son John son Nathaniel, executor son in law Philip Gould and daughter Hannah Gould daughter Mary Colby daughter Abigail Morse [7] His will was admitted to probate in April 1743. The inventory was taken on April 21, 1743, attested to by Nathaniel Eastman and valued at L440 8s. His death was likely at Amesbury, as widow Hannah was of Amesbury in 1748, when she added to her will. [7]
His widow Hannah's later will written July 28, 1748, was probated on Feb. 5, 1753. [2] (p. 47)[6] [7] In it Hannah mentions:
