Ruth born Manshun/Manshaw(?) daughter of Vivian Cromer´s possibly 2nd husband, possibly her sister or aunt's husband who abandoned them. (But NOT of Vivian)- possibly a an adopted daughter of J. J. "Cowboy Joe" Payne and his -UNKNOWN- first Wife.). Ruth was adopted by Vivian and her last husband- J. Joe (Cowboy) Payne (Cowboy, Texas Ranger, Preacher) and lived in Texas, under the name Ruth Payne with my Grandmother Gladys, who was then, called- Gladys Payne. Grandma said, she Lived with her adopted Sister, Not Step Sister. She claimed, Vivian brought Ruth into the marriage, with Joseph Payne.

Found in a 1930 Census in Winchester Village, Adams Co., Ohio: Jo J. Payne aged 58, Vivian aged 27, Gladys age 9 (the Census was in April Gladys had birthday in Summer.), Ruth age 8.
