Divorced from her first husband. Used to bring her kids to see Dr. Milton Van Dyke, a pediatrician in Long Beach.

Nov. 1931 Founder Junior Charity League of Long Beach which was accepted and taken into the National Association of Junior Leagues of America on February 3, 1948. The acceptance was formally celebrated in teen years of hard diligent community service to prove our elegibility - many times, many years, visits and examinations by national officers.

1932 Member of Board of Junior Charity League Public Relations Chairman - Chairman welfare.

1933-1935 President of Lowell P.T.A. and P.T.A. Council

1935- 1940 Member of the Girl Scout Council serving in capacity of Public Relation Chariman

1935- 1945 Founder Chairman Junior fortnightly Junior Assembly invitational Dancing group for Junior High School. Acted as Chairman and organizer and High School Children Center Charter member. Assistant League of Long Beach.

1940 Member of National Assistance League

1948 - 1950 Served two years on the Board as way and means Chairman - netting $20,000 in one year, the most ever made - the next year Hours Chairman. Served on Mental Hygiene Board of Directors.

1950 -1951 President of Long Beach Branch Harbor Area Los Angeles County Medical Association prior to this time she had been Public Relation Chairman, Social Chairman.

1963-1969 Organized Budget Group at the Assistance League bringing out teacher from River Forest, Illinois who was paid $5,000.00 each year. This has proven to be very successful and enjoyable.
