Samuel Sanford of New Haven

Samuel settled in the part of New Haven that became North Haven, CT. Sanford says the children were all born in North Haven, but Jacobus cites the New Haven town records for their births.

On 2 April 1748, Samuel, eldest son of Samuel Sanford of New Haven, deceased, exhibited an agreement under "ye Hands of ye sevral sons of said deceased, viz. Samuel and Ephraim of New Haven, Ezekiel and Zachariah of Waterbury and Thomas of New Haven for settlement of the estate of Samuel Sanford of New Haven, dec." (New Haven Probate 7:303)
