About Sarah Beach
Sarah Sanford married Thomas Beach.
She was the daughter of Thomas Sanford and Elizabeth Payne. Her mother, Elizabeth was daughter of the Boston Payne (Paine) family, whose progenitor was William Paine who in April 13-18 1635 embarked with his family in the Increase of London for New England. With his wife Anna, born 1595, he had the following children:
1. William, born 1625
2. Anna, born 1630
3. John, born 1632
4. Daniel, born 1635
William (Paine) PAYNE born in 1625, son of this William PAYNE, had children:
1. Mercy PAYNE,
2. Elizabeth PAINE : This Elizabeth PAINE, born about 1646, is said to be wife of Thomas SANFORD.
3. John PAYNE.
William Payne died in 1684 in New Haven, Conn. Married as his second wife, (2) Mary Edwards, widow of Francis Brown.

More: The Complete Book of Immigrants, 1607-1660 : William and John Payne came with their parents aboard the Increase from London, 1635, age 10 and 3 with two other siblings. Further evidence supporting this refers to William's children is that John Warner (whose descendants married those of William Payne) also came on the Increase.
