Rev. John Barnard has a long standing error: There are TWO John Barnard born in Andover. One is "John, s. Mr. Thomas and Elizabeth, Feb. 26, 1689-90." The other is "John, s. John and Amy, Apr. 16, 1697."

Sarah Martyn, widow of Boston, wrote her will July 31, 1758. She names her sons John, Richard, Nathaniel (deceased, and to his minor daughter Sarah) and her daughters Mary Cary, Sarah Barnard, Susanna Holyoke, Elizabeth Cushing, Abigail Kneeland. Her will was presented to court November 23, 1759.
