Note: Middle name is NOT ELIZABETH. She did have a sister named Elizabeth, and it would be very unusual to give two sisters the same name.

Sarah Hathaway was born on July 12, 1759, at Enon Hall in White Stone, Virginia, the only child of John and Sarah Lawson. She married William Bartlett in 1775 in Fauquier Co., Virginia. She died on August 17, 1831, in Harrison Co.(West) Virginia, at the age of 72, and is buried in Flemington, West Virginia.
NOTE: William and Sarah were probably married in 1775 - Sarah was 15 when she became pregnant with Nancy b 5 Sep 1775; and I believe William and Sarah eloped when they determined she was pregnant. The BARTLETT and HATHAWAY farms were adjacent in Fauquier Co... Pointedly, there is no marriage date in the bible that has all the children's births...
