<p>(Research):Lorne Hatch refers to a letter from his Uncle Don Hatch, wr itten in 1979, when Don was 67 years old.</p><p><p>In a letter I have from Don, now 80+ there is reference t o Sarah Ann Gane in England. (</p><p><p>Owned a brewery, lived near Salisbury.</p></p><p><p>)</p></p><p><p>. I think that he means her family owned a brewery. Sara h Ann Gaen (note variant spelling) and her husband Willia m Hatch are buried in Oro Cemetery.She is living i n the household of her youngest son Richard Hatch on the 18 61 census, but isn</p><p><p>t found on the 1871 census, so she presumably passed away d uring that decade.</p><p>BURI: PLACE Oro Cemetery</p>
